Maligaon, December 12 (MExN): The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has announced it will operate five one-way special trains based on passenger demand to ensure smoother travel and better connectivity across the region.
Train No. 05483 (Alipurduar Jn. – Delhi) will depart from Alipurduar Jn. at 10:30 hours on December 13, 2025, and reach Delhi at 21:45 hours on Sunday. The train will have stoppages at Hasimara, Siliguri Jn., Katihar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Prayagraj Jn., Kanpur Central and Ghaziabad, among others.
Train No. 05936 (Dibrugarh – Kolkata) will depart from Dibrugarh at 17:20 hours on December 13, 2025, to reach Kolkata at 00:30 hours on Monday, with stoppages at North Lakhimpur, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, and Malda Town.
Train No. 05653 (Agartala – Kolkata) will depart from Agartala at 07:35 hours on December 15, 2025, and arrive in Kolkata at 16:40 hours the next day, halting at Guwahati, New Bongaigaon and New Jalpaiguri.
Train No. 05650 (Silchar – Kolkata) is scheduled to depart from Silchar at 05:00 hours on December 18, 2025, and reach Kolkata at 12:05 hours the following day. Its stoppages include Lumding, Guwahati, New Jalpaiguri, and Malda Town.
Train No. 05958 (New Tinsukia - Chennai Central) will depart from New Tinsukia at 18:45 hours on December 18, 2025, arriving at Chennai Central at 04:30 hours on Sunday. Major stoppages include Dibrugarh, New Jalpaiguri, Bhubaneswar, and Vijayawada Jn.
