The ENSF Tuensang President Shahsha L. Menhahu and Assistant General Secretary Topongchuba Chang while lamenting over the new construction going on in NH-155 stated, “so far the department is not so serious about the hardships and problems faced by the citizens of Tuensang.”
The Federation has expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of road where the construction is on the progress. “To our utter dismay when we went for inspection for the third time it has been noticed that even the newly constructed road is cracking away when the workers are within the few distance from the spot for the completion of another stretch of the road,” the ENSF officials added.
Therefore, the Federation has made a sincerely appeal to the office concerned “to direct the contractors to improve the quality of workmanship before things get out of hand. In the meantime, it also request to withheld the final bill until the ENSF have no objection over the quality of the road and more importantly no objection from the people of Tuensang.”
