NH-61 compensation: DC Mkg informs affected landowners of three villages

Mokokchung, July 18 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Sachin Jaiswal (IAS) has informed that compensation for the construction of two-lane road from Mokokchung to Tuli section of NH-61 will be paid to the affected landowners of Unger, Chuchuyimlang, and Mongsenyimti villages as per the following schedule.  

Unger Village on July 21 from 11:00 am at DC’s office; Chuchuyimlang village on July 23 from 9:30 am at DC’s office; Mongsenyimti village on July 27 from 9:30 am at DC’s office.  

The Village Council Chairman along with GBs of the concerned village has been directed to be present in person to identify the landowners and beneficiaries during disbursal of the cheque, failing which, the payment will be withheld.  

Landowners are to come in person along with identity proof, bank pass book, passport size photo (2 copies). Payment to representatives other than the concerned person shall not be entertained, the DC stated in a press release.  

He further informed that the amount of the compensation paid shall be strictly according to the list received from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
