DIMAPUR, JANUARY 13 (MExN): The Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd is organizing one day workshop cum seminar on January 22 at Urban Haat, Dimapur from 10:30 am onwards. The event will be held to create awareness on the schemes of DC (H), GI, GEM portal, use of e-commerce platform and other marketing support for development of handicrafts in the North East region under the Research & Development Scheme. The corporation has invited resource persons and officials from different fields to take part in the programme, informed a press release. The event is being sponsored by the office of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles. Only 50 seats are available for the progrmme and candidates will be selected on a first come first basis. Interested artisans can apply to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd., Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, along with photocopy of Artisan Card/Aadhaar Card/bank account number with IFSC code on or before January 19 during office hours. Lump sum DA will be provided to all selected artisans, it was informed.
