Kohima, August 30 (MExN): Recognising the strength of its faculty and seeking to improve their teaching skills, the National Institute of Electronics & IT (NIELIT) Kohima in collaboration with two departments of Nagaland University – Dept. of Education and Dept. of Teacher Education, NU organised a two-day Faculty Development Programme on teaching techniques and methodology for the teaching staff of NIELIT Kohima on August 29 and 30 at the NIELIT Institute.
According to a press release, the programme was organised to as to enhance the teaching skills of teachers that they may continue to be competent and effective in their performances.
During the two-day programme, various topics were covered by Prof. Buno Liegise, Dean, School of Humanities & Education, Prof. Lungsang Zeliang, HOD Education, and Assistant Professors Dr. M. R. N. Babu, Surendra Yadav, Dr. B.V. Rao, Narola Chuba and Dr. Limala, the release informed.
