Kohima, July 10 (MExN): The National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT) Kohima inaugurated a Digital Forensics Training Program aimed at students, university lecturers/professors, and government officials from Egypt.
The program's launch ceremony was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including H.E. Wael Mohamed Awad Hamed, Ambassador of Egypt in India; Asheesh Gupta, Charge d'affaires & Deputy Chief of Mission, Cairo, Egypt; S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY; Dr. Madan Mohan Tripathi, Director General of NIELIT; Dr. Heba Saleh, Director of ITI Egypt; Samah Aziz, Director of International Relations at the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and IT, and other senior officials from both nations.
Participants will undergo a ten-week intensive online training module, followed by a visit to NIELIT Kohima for hands-on laboratory experience. This program aims to equip them with top-tier cybersecurity skills and serves as a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and fostering international collaboration in combating cyber threats.
