Dimapur, March 28 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) Caretaker CAO UT through its secretary John M Yimkhiung on Monday stated that in view of the numerous complaints received from the public “all Discos/Pubs/Nightclubs within the UT jurisdiction should shut their operations with immediate effect.”
It has also directed for “prohibition of gathering of people at night, particularly in State Stadium, Agri Expo 4th Mile and other such places where indulgence in the partake of alcohol consumption, illegal drugs and practice of immoral activities etc are carried out creating a huge nuisance in the area and occasionally resulting in the violence among citizens.”
“Henceforth, UT personnel and staff shall check the above mentioned places regularly and defaulters shall be liable for strict action,” it added.
