Kohima, February 19 (MExN): After five intensive days of deliberation on State business, Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) Speaker Sharingain Longkumer adjourned the 7th session of the 13th Assembly sine die on February 19.
In his concluding remarks, the Speaker acknowledged all the members of the House for their active participation and contribution towards the all important duty in formulating the plans and policies of the Government and ensuring that the state works continually for the welfare of its people.
He said that the discussion on the Indo-Naga political issue and the decisions and resolutions adopted during the current session were huge milestones and would be remembered throughout the course of history.
He also expressed gratitude to all the legislators led by the Leader of the House Neiphiu Rio and Leader of Opposition TR Zeliang and to all the government officials who contributed in various capacities to ensure the successful conduct of the session.
