Kohima, February 20 (MExN): The Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) will hold its 9th Biennial General Conference on February 24 at Jubilee Memorial Centre, Lerie, Kohima under the theme “For Fairness & Justice.”
The Conference will be hosted by the Kohima Law College and graced by KG Kenye, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha as the Guest Speaker. Rupin Sharma, Director General, Prisons, Home Guards, Civil Defence & SDRF and Nino Iralu, Secretary (Judicial), Department of Justice and Law are the special guests of the conference.
In a press release, the federation acknowledged the support showered by all the law students and the law colleges during these trying times.
It has been the endeavor of the present incumbents to elevate the cause of the federation and the conformity of the succeeding general conference is a representation of the collective efforts of all stake holders, it said.
The NLSF also extended its gratitude to its Advisors Kezhokhoto Savi and T Lima and NLSF Tribunal Imliben Lemtur, Convenor; Wekhrope Marhu, Member and Nungshimeren Jamir, Member “for their unceasing guidance and participation through thick and thin”.
It further appealed all the law students of the State attend the conference and further solicited the support of the people for the success of the conference.
