NLSF hands over fair election campaign banner to FACSU

Kohima, December 11 (MExN): Nagaland Law Students' Federation (NLSF) handed over its fair election campaign banner to Fazl Ali College Students’ Union (FACSU) at a joint meeting held at its office on December 11.

Being the oldest college in Nagaland, the Federation expressed high hope that the fazl Ali College Students' Union will do something better in sensitizing the laypeople to exercise their franchise wisely in the upcoming Nagaland general election.

“However, it is disheartening to see the present political scenario of our state after propagating all over the state to go for a clean and fair election process. By now we can predict that 2018 general election cannot be so fair, but the Federation will not lose its hope as lots of Naga intellectuals seek for a peaceful, prosperous and better Nagaland,” stated a press release from NLSF Speaker Nungshimeren Jamir and Information & Publicity Secretary Roland Zeliang.

The Federation assured it will always uphold in its prayer that someday Nagaland political system will be changed and looked forward to working together with the students’ fraternity in particular and the Nagas in general until it achieves its desired goal.
