New Market Business Owners’ Association (NMBOA) on Tuesday inducted Kughali Chishi, wife of late H. Hokivi Chishi, as its new President after the post fell vacant following the demise of Hokivi on August 4, 2017. Speaking at the induction programme held at her residence in Sematilla, Dimapur, Kughali thanked the business community of New Market for posing their confidence on her to head the Association and appealed for their support and cooperation. She also thanked friends, well wishers of her late husband and leaders of various Dimapur based civil societies for their love and concern and their expression of support to her in her new responsibility. A host of speakers including ex-MLAs, Azheto Zhimomi, Hewoto Awomi and representatives of DCCI, Naga Council, BAN, GBs’ Union Dimapur, DUCCF, Muslim Council Dimapur, Sumi Council Dimapur and other leaders spoke at the programme. All the speakers expressed their support and cooperation towards Kughali Chishi as she heads the NMBOA as its President. Rev. Shitovi Swu, Pastor, Zutovi Village Baptist Church said the dedicatory prayer on the induction of the new President, NMBOA.
