NMDA asks members to renew IDs

Dimapur, August 3 (MExN): The Nagaland Medical Dealers Association (NMDA) on Monday informed that “people have been found moving around with restricted medicine having fake medical IDs pasted on their vehicles,” which were not issued by the association. As such, a press release from NMDA Joint Secretary Arijit Sharma informed all its members to renew their ‘medical IDs’ with office bearers by August 7. It said the old identity cards would be called off and rendered invalid. It further requested the Police Department and the administration to punish any person found involved in fraudulent supply of restricted medicines without proper documents and ID issued by NMDA.
