NNC (NA) respond to allegations

Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): Two cadres of NNC who joined the ‘NNC (NA) recently has issued a response to criticism and allegations from their former organization.  The persons, V Khehoto Zhimomi and Tokugha Zhimomi issued the response today. The statement said the NNC is a “democratic organization” but “your style of functioning” is autocratic and “never taken your fellow workers into confidence” and applying “policy of one man rule.” The NNC is accused of taking arbitrary decisions, and not heeding to “proposal to set up a government.”
Another point that the two NNC cadres raised was that “we have advised you on many occasions to take the FNR into confidence and work in tandem with them but you have rejected our suggestions outright. You have said that NNC (Nagi) as nothing to do with FNR and vice versa. As you are not for reconciliation we have rejected you,” the note said. What the “suggestions” concerning reconciliation was about was not mentioned in the rejoinder.
On the allegation that the two persons was a “hindrance” to relation between the NNC and FGN, the rejoinder said “we have always advised you to maintain a cordial relationship with all the Naga political organization and civil societies whereas without taking into confidence the opinion of the other members of the organizations, you are doing as you wish.”
The rejoinder denounced what it called “irrelevant baseless allegation” of the NNC “which is unbecoming of you.” “We have not parted ways with you for any personal or other issues but due to the differences of political opinion and the working system f your group. It is our ardent desire that NNC should be one and as NNC (NA) under the leadership of Z Hozheto and M Kiumukam, is striving towards this end, we have thrust our faith in them,” the rejoinder added.
