Dimapur, November 24 (MExN): The NNC (Parent Body) today called for Naga national unity, “keeping the best interest of our future for freedom.”
As per a press release from NNC Information & Publicity Wing, “at this critical and crucial stage of a political solution with Government of India, unless the Naga people and particularly the national workers unite in reality, there cannot be a political solution with fragmented opinion and self- interest agendas,” it stated.
It termed the internal hatred and division amongst the various political groups as the “most unfortunate part” which was “destructive and jeopardizing the entire Naga people's future.”
The NNC has appealed and urged all the groups to come together “for national unity for the sake of our future if we truly love and stand for our homeland and our future generation.”
Meanwhile, the NNC has called for a general meeting on November 28 at Lotha Region. It has invited all the concerned people and the NNC members far and near in particular to attend positively in the interest of peace and unity.
