NNC/FGN resolves to strengthen talks between GoI and NNPGs

Dimapur, February 18 (MExN): The NNC/FGN during its joint meeting on February 17 has “unanimously resolved to support and strengthen the ongoing talks between the GoI and NNPGs.”

The “top functionaries” of NNC/FGN held the joint meeting at Toulazouma, Dimapur and adopted resolutions, Ghuvishe V Zhimomi, Cabinet Secretary, NNC/FGN stated in a press release. 

The joint meeting was held in lieu of the 69th Tatar Hoho in view of the fact that the global pandemic has made the situation unfeasible to hold a conventional Tatar Hoho.

The Tatar Hoho may be held as and when the situation improves and the decisions of the 68th Tatar Hoho 2020 shall remain in force till the 69th Tatar Hoho is convened, the Cabinet Secretary informed. 

Meanwhile, the joint meeting also resolved to establish the Central Secretariat as per the provision laid down in Article 50 of the Yehzabo of Nagaland and decided to recommend Ghuvishe V Zhimomi for appointment as the Secretary General.

It resolved to reorganize the Western Command of the Naga Army and place Dimapur District under this Command.

In regard to “strengthen the NNC,” it resolved to fill all the vacant posts at the earliest. The Search Committee headed by Zhopra Vero, Kedallo as Convenor and with members- Puthai Lam, Killo Kilonser and Hekhuvi Achumi, Lota Kilonser was constituted.
