Peren, January 17 (MExN): The 20th general conference of Ngaulong Namsha Organisation (NNO) was held on January 8 at Old Ngaulong village under Peren district.
The conference witnessed competitions in cultural dance, folk songs, flute playing, and traditional games.
A press release informed that four Ngaulong villages, namely Old Ngaulong, Bamsiakeloa, Ngam, New Ngaulong, and other villages beyond Nagaland came together for reunion at the conference, which was graced by Zandi Domta, State Executive Member, BJP as chief guest and Penamwini, ex-president, Zeliangrong Students’ Union Nagaland as guest of honour.
The resource person of the conference was Aakam Pame, social worker and president of Zeme Students’ Union Nagaland. He urged the gathering to believe in one’s personal ability and have faith in dignity of self duty, informed the press release issued by Chiwang Pame, president NNO.
“Having a strong and firm determination will land in achieving our goal,” Aakam stated.
Based on the conference theme ‘Together and unite to harvest,’ he further urged to uphold the bond and relationship in harvesting whatever they sow together positively, the release added.
Meanwhile, exhortation was given by Er. Ramkuabam Ngame.
