NNQF asks NPSC to advertise 5 posts under CESE

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 12 (MExN): The Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF) has urged the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) to advertise the remaining 5 unadvertised posts under Common Educational Service Examination (CESE) and ensure accommodation of all candidates.

A press release from the NNQF appreciated the NPSC for taking action on their long standing appeal for the advertisement of the posts of Assistant Professor and Librarian under the Higher Education Department.

While acknowledging the prompt act of the NPSC with regard to the Common Educational Service Examination (CESE), the NNQF also put forth two requests.

It informed that    out of the 110 posts, as per an office memorandum dated July 4, 2018 and a notification dated August 9, 2018, a total of 105 posts have been advertised till date. According to the RTI dated August 19, 2019, the reason cited for five posts withheld in the first CESE advertisement, dated November 13, 2019, was mentioned as being under review and examination.

The NNQF, therefore, requested the advertisement of the 5 posts as well “in the hope that the reviewing and examination have been completed by now.”

It meanwhile said that the online mode of registration and application is “proving to be a problem to many of the candidates.”

“Given the timeframe for the CESE application, which is from February 5 to February 26, 2021, many remain apprehensive of being left out due to inability to register or failing to fill the applications on time,” the NNQF said.

It therefore appealed to the NPSC to ensure that all candidates applying for the CESE are accommodated despite prevailing technical glitches.

“With our continuing faith, we appeal to the concerned authorities to take the necessary action on time, and remain hopeful that our appeal will be heard,” the forum hoped.
