Dimapur, November 27 (MExN): The NSCN(R) has directed one Alex Tuccu to “surrender himself before the NSCN authorities within 3 days (on or before November 30) or face action.”
NSCN (R) in a press release from MIP today reminded all concerned that there was no 'Alex Tuccu' in their fold in both 'active or primary' membership whatsoever and dealing with him, “shall be so at one's own risk and shall not reflect the image of the NSCN (R) in any manner.”
The release stated Tuccu was allegedly “masquerading as Deputy Kilonser of NSCN (R) and outrageously carrying out 'extortion spree' in and around Dimapur which cannot be tolerated.”
It suggested family or friends of the “elusive conman” to advise him that “surrendering himself in his own volition would be best for him, that some magnanimous gesture, mitigating the penalties of the crime and damage done to the NSCN (R) may perhaps be considered.”
With the expiry of the dateline, it will be “constrained to hunt him down and initiate stringent and severest action against him,” NSCN (R) added.
