DIMAPUR, APRIL 7 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Fellowship (Myanmar) observed its first fellowship in Dimapur under the theme “Unity in Christ.” The fellowship was formed “with the purpose to help each other in times of difficulties and to encourage each other for better educational and spiritual life of the students.
According to a press note issued to the media, Visheto Yepthomi, sponsor of the fellowship who is also chairman of the Global Welfare Society was the guest of honour while Rev Dr VK Nuh was the guest speaker. The press noted informed that, Yepthomi in his speech encouraged the students to equip themselves with quality education and asserted importance of the need for dedication. He encouraged the students to work hard and excel in every field. Rev. Nuh, urged the students not to give up the struggles but to stand firmly for brighter future and to have strong determination.
Naga National League for Democracy, President, Saw Sa in his speech expressed his desire for the students to have a broader vision. He further thanked the “Nagas in Nagaland for helping the Naga Student’s from Mayanmar.” He expounded on the need for unity among all Nagas. He stated, “No boundary can divide us. We are Nagas by blood.”
