No change in Nagaland’s COVID-19 status

Dimapur, March 28 (MExN): The COVID-19 tally in Nagaland remained unchanged on Monday with no new positive cases, recoveries, or deaths reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the daily health bulletin issued by the state Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme, the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state currently stands at 35,470. Out of the total, 16 are active cases while 33,212 patients have recovered from the disease. The COVID-19 death toll stands at 754, excluding four others that were categorised as ‘Non Covid deaths (with COVID-19 positivity).

In terms of severity of cases, 15 are said to be asymptomatic and one moderate on oxygen. A total of 14 active cases are from Dimapur district while Kiphire and Wokha have one active case each. 

While data reporting for the new districts of Chümoukedima, Noklak, Niuland, Shamator, and Tseminyu are covered under former districts as there are no separate surveillance units yet for the new districts, the rest of the districts are currently COVID-free.
