The police have at hand a literally blind case after a decapitated and limbless torso of a woman washed up on the bank of a river in Chumukedima. The unknown torso was found at the Chathe river, near the Chumukedima Saturday Bazaar on August 7. The police informed that post-mortem has been conducted but two days on there has been no lead whatsoever as to connect it to a missing person or a reported crime.
