Noklak, January 12 (MExN): The District Task Force (DTF) Noklak had reactivated the COVID-19 control room and all related arrangements in the district.
Giving the information during a meeting of the DTF on COVID-19 on January 12, the Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DTF Noklak Hiazu Meru stated that the control room and other related activities were reactivated due to the rapid surge in COVID-19 cases in the country and with the detection of the variant of concern, omicron, indicating the arrival of the third wave.
Accordingly, the DTF also decided to cover all eligible persons for COVID-19 vaccination and deliberated on vaccination of 15-18 years age group.
The house also elaborated on the order and SOPs issued by the Home department which will be strictly enforced in the district, a DIPR report informed.
