Kohima, August 5 (MExN): With a vision for clean Kohima, Northern Angami Students’ Union (NASU) organised sanitation drive in Kohima Town on August 4.
Around 250 volunteers from NASU units participated in the sanitation drive, informed a press release from the union.
Observing that the “dirtiest and unhygienic places are the taxi stands and bus stands where plastic waste materials are building up on the road bed,” NASU requested the unions concerned to take necessary measures to solve the problem and also the public to play an active role in keeping Kohima clean.
Meanwhile, the union thanked all those who supported in making the sanitation drive a success.
