DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 24 (MExN): GPRN/NSCN has clarified to the general public, particularly the inhabitants of Mon district that every month the allocation of kerosene oil for Mon District is approximately 90,000 litres. According to the GPRN/NSCN, it came to know of the modus operandi of Ashok Jain of Sibsagar and as the culprit was traced out, he wasted no time in contacting media to tarnish the image of GPRN/NSCN.
Meanwhile the GPRN/NSCN assured that it will do all it can to ensure that the allotted quota of Kerosene oil reaches Mon town. Those selling off such commodities illegally will not be spared, it stated while clarifying that the news report which appeared on 24th September 2011 alleging GPRN/NSCN behind shortage of kerosene at Mon Town is, therefore, not correct.
