NPCC joins Nationwide Congress COVID Sevak Campaign

Dimapur, June 21 (MExN): The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) joined Nationwide Congress COVID Sevak Campaign by setting up several walk-in Covid Vaccine Registration Help Desks in Dimapur & Kohima since June 5, informed a press release. 

The campaign, under the Nagaland Congress Covid Sevak Committee, so far registered hundreds of beneficiaries, it said. 

In continuation of the Campaign, the Team today assisted the SD Jain Charitable Clinic in organising a Mobile Covid Vaccination Camp at the premises of the Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, the release said. 

 Around 250 people were vaccinated during the camp under the guidance and supervision of Narendra Jain, Secretary and Kishore Jain, Jt Secretary of SD Jain Charitable Clinic, it added, further expressing gratitude to SD Jain Samaj for organising the camp and for their humanitarian efforts throughout the year.

The Congress Party, as part of its efforts at alleviating the sufferings of the people during the Covid Pandemic had launched a Nationwide Congress COVID Sevak Campaign, the release said.

Under the campaign, Congress workers across the nation have been tasked to assist the common people, particularly those in 18-44 age groups to register for vaccination on CoWin Portal, so as to ensure that those without the means and know-how don't get left out of the vaccination process, it added.
