NPF 30th Alongtaki A/C reorganised

Dimapur, April 21 (MExN): The NPF party of 30th Alongtaki A/C has been reorganised with appointment of a new president along with office bearers and unit presidents. Limakumba from Lakhuni was appointed as the new president with 31 general and frontal office bearers and 35 unit presidents on April 15 at Community Hall, Longchem.   President of NPF Mokokchung Division, Moasangba Jamir administered the oath of office to the new team. A press release informed that Moasangba encouraged the party leaders and workers to be united to work for the people with great zeal and spirit. According to him, Further, he specifically mentioned that according to NPF Constitution, a member can voluntarily resign but cannot dissolve a unit. A unit can be suspended and later on dissolved by the Central Office only. “Dissolving a unit by itself shows that they became party leaders without knowing the Party Constitution which shows their ignorance,” he stated referring to the recent report of dissolution of the party unit by its office bearers.

  Meanwhile, Dr. Benjongliba Aier, Parliamentary Secretary of Agriculture, emphasised on the co-ordination among the party leaders and workers during the event. He advised the party leaders to start their works from the grass-root levels for better results and progres.In the past, he said, those who were not primary members were even appointed as party presidents so they failed to understand the ideology of the party and what were going on in the grass-root levels and left the party for slimmest reason.   Exhortations were also given by N. Kikon, General Secretary, NPF Central i/c of Mokokchung Division, Arenla, President, Mokokchung Division (Women Wing) and Sangpang Ao on behalf of the Japukong Village Council Chairmen. A/C leaders, Village Council Chairmen, officails of the Japukong Hoho among others attended the induction meeting. The 30th Alongtaki A/C pledged to extend unconditional support to the leaderships of the NPF President Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu and Chief Minister TR Zeliang.
