NPF Central serves show cause notice to Neiphiu Rio

DIMAPUR, APRIL 15 (MExN): Following the suspension of Imkong L Imchen from active and primary membership of the Naga People’s Front with immediate effect until further orders, the Disciplinary Action Committee (DAC) of the NPF has served a show cause notice to Neiphiu Rio, MP Lok Sabha on April 13, 2016 after it “received numerous complaints from various corners.” A statement received from Press Bureau, NPF Central said the DAC after examining the complaints found ‘beyond doubt’ that “Rio had involved in anti party activism, orchestrated and harbored dissident movement within NPF party… and violated party constitutional provision by abstaining from party meeting 4 consecutive times.” The DAC said the show cause notice must be replied within 15 days in written format from the date of issue of notice served in conformity with party constitution with Article XIV Section 1 (C) and Section (B) as to why disciplinary action should not be initiated against him.
