It is a matter of serious concern that the NPF-DAN Government which is meant to be the Government of the people of entire State of Nagaland has instead governing the State with the sheer policy of self-aggrandizement. The NPF track record of nine years in power only yielded the maxim of making hay while the sun shines. In brief, this DAN Government is a factory that churns out money in lakhs and crores for themselves.
The Special Development Fund which is meant to be judiciously disbursed to the need based people for meaningful results and not the manner in which funds being diverted to program in CMs residence or construction of fishery pond in term of lakhs and crores for their own selfish benefits. Therefore, the SDF has become a despicable scheme in Nagaland as because devoid of its basic objective, the NPF Government allocated a whopping sum of 1000.00 lakhs (2011-2012) and given to NPF leaders and people who are having close proximity with the high ups like hot cakes. The SDF lists of beneficiaries obtained by the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee from Planning Department through RTI program is self-explanatory. The NPCC leave it to the public to form their own judgment as to whether NPF Government is working for the welfare of the needy people or filling their own pockets including that of their near and dear ones.
