NPF has mandate of people: Nihoshe

Kohima, April 19 (MExN): A thanksgiving service by the NPF candidate KC Nihoshe of 35th Zunheboto Assembly Constituency was held on April 18 at his residence in Zunheboto. Speaking on the occasion, Nihoshe thanked all the supporters and well wishers for extending their unwavering support in the recently held election to the 12th Nagaland Legislative Assembly. He stated that the kind acts through prayer, moral and physical support extended to him by many would never be forgotten.

Though losing the election, he asserted that he has renewed his enthusiasm and energy to work for the people. He was also hopeful that his supporters would continue to support and stay loyal to him and the party. He also told supporters that he would contest again in the next elections.

Stating that NPF has the mandate of the people, he conveyed full confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and NPF president Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu for leading the Nagas to a brighter future.

Further, Nihoshe appreciated the effort of the Clean Election Campaign initiated by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC). Earlier, Shekheto Swu, pastor SBCZ invoked God’s blessings for the service while Ghokuto Zhimo, president NPF 35th Zunheboto A/C proposed the vote of thanks.
