Kohima, September 3 (MExN): The Kohima Division of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) has extended its warm welcome to ex-MLA Asu Keyho into the party fold. Keyho joined the NPF along with 200 strong supporters pledging to strengthen the party in his constituency and work for the welfare of the party in general, a press release from the NPF Kohima Division informed.
The NPF Kohima has also made an appeal to all rank and file of the party to remain steadfast behind the leadership of Dr. Shurhozelie Liezietsu. It reminded party workers that the present crisis being caused by the expelled and suspended legislators also occurred in 2015 when majority of the legislators sided with Neiphiu Rio and others but had to return to the party fold when it was made clear that the majority of the party CEC and active and primary members decide the fate of the political party.
