NPF Youth Wing asserts to stand by ultimatum

Kohima, August 19 (MExN): In response to the DAN Core Committee’s statement regarding ultimatum served to close down NPF office set up at Hotel Legacy in Kohima, NPF Youth Wing of 10 Northern Angami-1 A/C has asserted that it still stands by its ultimatum and will continue to question individuals who are behind setting up of the “illegal” office and who are responsible for the formation of a new Youth Wing in Northern Angami-1 assembly constituency “without our knowledge or consent.”

In a press rejoinder issued by its president Vilielhou Suokhrie and vice president Pfulikhre Keretsü, the Youth Wing maintained that the setting up of the office was viewed as a provocation at this juncture and “it was hoped that till such time a proper solution is effected, the said illegal office, which might lead to confrontation, will be closed down to avoid further trouble.”

Owing to appeals made by frontal NGOs for restraint and peaceful approach, the Youth Wing has been complying with the appeals till date, the rejoinder added.
