
Dimapur, May 30 (MExN): The Nagaland Piano Teachers’ Association (NPTA) has condoled the demise of Margaret Shishak.
“Ma’am Margaret was a storehouse of knowledge. She instilled in us a love for sacred music and the tenacity to practice till perfection. She was gentle and at the same time she had strength and fire in her. Her eyes always sparkled when she talked about the organ, and one could always sense how much she loved music,” NPTA said.
They association stated that the NPTA was honuored “to have her blessings as we started our journey in 2017 as an Honorary Member. We give her the highest tribute for everything that she has done. Her contributions to the piano community are for all to witness through the thousands who learn piano in Nagaland and the professionals who exist.”
“We pray her legacy will live on in each of us who had the honour of having her in our lives. To God be the glory,” NPTA conveyed in its condolence message.
