NSBSG golden jubilee today

Kohima, December 14 (MExN): A day ahead of the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides (NSBSG) golden jubilee celebration, a reunion of Scouters and Guiders took place on Thursday at State Training Centre (STC), Pheza Nerhema in Kohima district.  

Exhorting the gathering, P Atuo Mezhür Sekhose, State Chief Commissioner said he was fortunate to be part of the golden jubilee celebration since he took over the STC only four months back. He congratulated all the Scouters and Guiders who are also part of the celebration.  

The Commissioner informed that he will be touring the NSBSG district units across the state next year, specially referring to two districts Peren and Longleng which are lacking in units aspects.  

Further, he called upon all the head of institutions of schools in Nagaland to help the Scouts and Guides movement, which is a worldwide movement.  

He also took the opportunity to extend jubilee greetings and merry Christmas and happy New Year.  

Earlier, the NSBSG also inducted three vice patrons – Imtirenla Jamir, Lhouvizosier Mezhür Sekhose, and Khriekethozo Lhoungu.  

556 Scout and Guides and officials from various districts have arrived at the STC Pheza to celebrate the golden jubilee on Friday starting at 9:40 am. Governor PB Acharya will be the chief guest in the inaugural programme. The closing ceremony will be held at the same venue at 3:00 pm with Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu, former Chief Minister as the chief guest.
