Kohima, August 5 (MExN): The Rajya Puraskar Rally, also known as Governor’s Award Rally, for 2018 of the Nagaland State Bharat Scouts and Guides (NSBSG) kicked off on August 4 at the State Headquarters, Bayavü Hill, Kohima.
A press release from NSBSG further informed that the awardees along with the Professional Leaders of the State Headquarters officials and District officials had a special service fellowship on August 5, where a special prayer was made for all the people affected by the recent natural calamities in most of the districts of Nagaland.
Offerings were also made, it said, adding all the cash collected will be sent towards the NSBSG Relief Fund for the welfare of the affected families.
Altogether, 32 Guides and 19 Scouts from Dimapur, Kohima, and Mokokchung districts will be receiving the prestigious Governor’s Award at Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima on August 7 from the Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya, who is also the Chief Patron of NSBSG, the release said.
