Dimapur, April 16 (MExN): The Nagaland State Co-operative Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Phom Baptist Christian Association on April 16.
NSCB stated in a press release that the MoU was signed with view to carter to the needs of farming community, to improve the socio-economic condition of the rural people through SHGs and JLGs in the rural un-bank areas of Nagaland and to cover all un-bank areas under Longleng district.

Others present during the occasion were Imtilemba Longkumer, GM (Cr), NSCB, S Atovi Sema, GM (Admn) NSCB, Bendangnungsang, DGM (Agri), N Ramwang, DGM (Cr), R Lopoktoba and VK Disong, Nodal Officer, Micro Finance Cell, NSCB.
The Bank is taking up vigorous initiatives to cover all the un-banked blocks of the State as per RBI directives on financial inclusion.
