Dimapur, February 26 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has condoled the demise of Kilonser, Tokivi Awomi, on February 25. Hailing from Vishiyi village under Union Territory (UT), late Tokivi joined national service in the year 1992 and served the nation with steadfast patriotism until his demise, stated a condolence note from Kilo Kilonser GPRN, M Daniel Lotha. “The void created by his passing away is deeply felt. For his selfless contribution to the Naga national cause, his name shall be archived in the pages of the Naga history and he shall be remembered for all times to come,” it said.
In the condolence note addressed to Ghovili Awomi, the wife of late Tokivi, the NSCN (IM) also extended its condolences to his family and all his loved ones and prayed for the Almighty to shower strength to the bereaved family members to bear the loss.
