NSCN (IM) condoles 

Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): The NSCN (IM) has mourned the demise of Col (Retd) Soreingam Khamrang, Member of Steering Committee who passed away on June 9 in Dimapur. “He was a dedicated man who loved Naga nation and displayed his patriotic spirit till his last breath,” said a press release issued by Ashiho Asoumai, Convener, Steering Committee. Khamrang gave his service for the Naga nation from January 21, 1987, and served the nation till the last moment of his life. The void created by his demise will be difficult to fill in, it said and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members and his close friends and prayed for the departed soul. 

Meanwhile, the NSCN (IM) has expressed grief over the demise of Lojit Langthasa, Leacy on June 9. He was from Amaluma village under the Union Territory (UT). He enrolled in the Naga national service on April 23, 2008. A condolence note stated that Langthasa “served the Naga nation with unwavering patriotism until his demise. For his selfless contributions to the Naga national cause, his name shall be recorded in the pages of the Naga history and his sacrifices for the Naga nation shall ever be cherished by all.” It conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and also prayed for his spirit to rest in eternal peace.
