Dimapur, September 25 (MExN): The NSCN (IM)’s “custodian of national property” today corrected its September 22 notification that “all the lakes (Pukhri’s) in the entire Dimapur Town Area shall be preserved as National Property for the benefit of Naga Nation”. Clarifying this in a press note, the Convenor of the Custodian National Property, Nihoto Chishi, while regretting the error, nonetheless informed the occupants or the plantations in the embankments of “these referred areas should vacate/cleared off within 45 (forty five) days from the issue of Azha (Order) i.e. 24th Sept ‘07”. On September 21 Nihoto Chishi informed that the ‘Purana Bazar Padam Pukhri, Nahabari Padam Pukhri and the surrounding lands under jurisdiction of Dimapur town/city shall be preserved as national property’.
