NSCN-IM slams rival’s ‘jungle politics’

Dimapur, Dec 27 (MExN): In yet another paper trade-off between the two warring rivals, the NSCN-IM, slamming what it stated is “jungle politics” and propaganda through the media by its rival, the NSCN-K, also charged it of being in cahoots with Indian military entities in Mon.

“The three estranged men of Khaplang gang, Shri. Kughalu Mulatonu, Shri. A Z Jami and Shri. Wangtin Konyak have been trying to flex their muscles through the media trying to undermine the Naga people by their jungle politics. But this is to amply make clear to the Naga people that lately Shri. Kughalu has been leveling unfounded and malicious propagandas against the NSCN leader Mr. Isak Chishi Swu and Mr. Th. Muivah and even went to extent of our leaders using the Indian security agents for their safety” according to Vikato Zhimomi of the Sumi region, NSCN-IM.

The note also stated that Kitovi Zhimomi, “the self-styled prime minister of a Burmese gang has been provided foolproof security by the Assam Rifles in Zunheboto, while one company of India Reserved Battalion (IRB) is guarding the so-called ceasefire supervisory board office at Mon, the house where the gang members are sheltered”. Also, in Athibung the Assam Rifles have “provided blanket security to the Khaplang cadres and that Shri. Kughalu has been using the Indian security and intelligent agents to move around between Mon, Kohima and Dimapur” the NSCN-IM stated adding that “it is also known fact that their illegal arms shipments are being transported by the Indian agents, therefore, it is for the Naga people to judge who is right and who is not”.
