DIMAPUR, SEPT 21 (MExN): The NSCN (K) has inducted Wangtin Naga in its Council of Kilonsers. On the recommendation of the organization’s Council of Kilonsers, Enno SS Khaplang, Chairman of the NSCN (K) inducted Wangtin as Deputy Kilonser in its Ministry of Home (Kilo) Affairs, an MIP/GPRN release said. “The NSCN/GPRN which was without Kilo Kilonser, is blessed with a young and capable Dy. Kilonser.”
To commemorate his induction, a programme is said to have been held on September 20 at the Cease-Fire Supervisory Board Office, which was attended by members of Konyak Union, Konyak Students’ Union, Konyak Gazetted Officers Union, Mon Town Council, public leaders and several other well-wishers. Mass thanksgiving prayer was led by Rev Tonlong, Executive Secretary, Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjum and Rev Sheipa, a member of the Nagaland Peace Mission, the release said.
“The Council of Kilonsers, CCMs, Secretaries and Army functionaries appreciated the Collective Leadership for choosing the right person for the right job.”
