Taka, December 11 (MExN): The nomenclature of Pangmi (T) Region, NSCN (K) was changed to Tangshang Region on November 29 at Taka. Besides, the Region held a meeting to reshuffle its working region members on November 30. Maj. (Retd) Sentü Hangmü was promoted from Region Secretary to Vice Chairman, Lt. Col. (Retd) Lemkam was reaffirmed as Region Chairman, while other region members will remain as they were, informed a press release from Tangshang Region Chairman, Lt. Col. (Retd) Lemkam.
Meanwhile, on December 1, all the region workers fasted and prayed to God for his wisdom and guidance prior to their start of works and on December 2, they were officially installed as Tangshang Region workers.
On the occasion, Lt. General (Retd) Khango, Chairman NSCN (K) encouraged the Tangshang Region workers to be stronger, enthusiastic and vigilant. “Tangshang Region contributed a lot to the nation from the beginning to till today,” he stated, adding the Region is one of the core regions of the Naga Nation.
