NSCN Khaplang rejects allegations

Alleging the NSCN and India’s paramilitary collusion in suppressing Khehoi gangsters is not only baseless but purely a frustrated expression. As per the ceasefire agreement between the GOI way back in 2001, it is the joint responsibility of both the entities to coordinate in the process of implementing the ceasefire ground rules. Therefore, such coordination can hardly be alleged as collusion. It may also be mentioned that even officials of CFSB, NSCN-K are being denied security at times even for the purpose of attending official meetings with GOI in connection with the ceasefire.

Likewise, several instances of harassment, misunderstandings, and obstruction takes place between the NSCN and GOI despite the bilateral agreement. The present turmoil and unrest is a direct outcome of flagrant violation of ceasefire ground rules by the Khehoi campers all over Nagaland.

Therefore any measure to enforce proper implementation of CFGR in toto may be construed as corroborating act of suppression. Rather the Khehoi gangsters should retreat back to their own designated camp. The prevailing chaos and killings can be halted only when the Khehoi gangsters are tamed to civility. Their outburst of their frustration explains their immaturity and helplessness in the face of astute political institution, ie NSCN/GPRN led by His Excellency SS Khaplang
