DIMAPUR, APRIL 19 (MExN): The Naga Students’ Federation today condemned the “brutal attack” on its Speaker, RS Jollyson and Secretary Social & Culture, Krelo at Sora, under Thoubal district of Manipur on April 17. A press note by the NSF Vice President and Assistant General Secretary informed that its Speaker, R.S Jollyson was injured in the assault and added that the two officials were heading towards Chandel to officially dispatch the forthcoming NSF 25th General Conference program to the federating units at Chandel. The Federation stated that the incident “is an insult and a direct challenge to the Naga people in general and the federation in particular.” “This communal attack ‘cannot be forgiven and forgotten,” the NSF stated, and further urged the Government of Manipur to take stern action against those involved in the assault so that such “unscrupulous incidents do not happen again.”
