NSFM 12th fresher’s day

Mangalore, September 1 (MExN): The Naga Student Forum Mangaluru (NSFM) held its 12th Fresher’s meet on September 1, at NITTE (deemed to be university) Deralakatte Mangaluru .

A press release received here stated that Dr Satheesh Kumar Bhandary, Vice Chancelor of Nitte (deemed to be university) was the chief guest of the programme. Kumar shared about his road trip experiences and the education system during his visit to Nagaland. He advised the students to be the ambassador of one’s own community.He advised that whatever learning takes place through education should be translated into action and therefore encouraged the students to go back and serve the people back home after education.

Dr Azhoni Krechina assistant Professor NITK Suratkal shared on Socioculture of Nagas.Welcome address was given by Akumtoshi T Jamir, vice president NSFM. Guangsinlung, President gave the Bird’s view of the Forum . A speech on behalf of freshers was given by Takoyangba Lemtur and on behalf of old timers Daikho, Kaini Cecilia gave the exhortation. The Benediction was said by Christy Shimray D’Souza.  Various activities were conducted where young talented students showcased their talents. Ame Nangbo K and Imkumnaro Kichu were adjusted as Mr and Miss Fresher of NSFM 2019, the release stated.

 The programme ended with a note of gratitude from Gabriella Shudziipro. The Master of ceremony were Thanpam, Temjenyapang Longchar and  Imlisenla Imchen.
