NSGEWA says go ahead with pension

Dimapur, July 13 (MExN): Nagaland Senior Government Employees’ Welfare Association today asked its members to “initiate and process their pension and other related papers” as the Supreme Court has already dismissed the association’s petition. The Special Leave Petition filed by the association in the Supreme Court against the Nagaland retirement Bill 2009 was dismissed. “We felt extremely demoralized by the Supreme court verdict but as we have not committee anything wrong to the government or to the people of the state for the last 35 or 36 years in service, God the Almighty would give us solace and power to bear it,” stated a message from the association today.  “Let no one be frustrated for our loss in the legal battle in the Supreme Court of Indian New Delhi.” All the members of the association are asked to go ahead with their pension works. Also, a general meeting is also convened for July 20, 2010 at 11 AM in the association’s office at ‘D’ Block in Kohima.
