Dimapur, March 13 (MExN): With regard to the news item ‘Naga Hoho-ENPO peace mission report surprising: NLD, Naga Region’ published on February 28, the Naga Students' Organization (NSO) has clarified that its appreciation to Naga Hoho and ENPO Peace team to Myanmar was only to support/cooperate any movement related to peace mission wherever, whenever and it had no other intention.
NSO in a clarification issued by its General Secretary, T. Mankhat Konyak further said that it had mentioned MPs, Naga Yuya leaders, senior Naga leaders, Kyaw Win Swe and Myanmar Peace Committee Vice Chairman because the peace team met them as they were informed.
The NSO also said it has taken serious note of the “caution” of Chairman, NLD Naga Region to NSO. “We never expect and it is one of the hardest things to believe that our leader will warn us (his voters, his public) for we support peace process," NSO said. Meanwhile, the NSO asked the Chairman of NLD Naga Region to declare/clarify whom he means by "genuine Naga" as per his statement in the last paragraph.
