NSRLM Zunheboto trains Block Level Trainers

Zunheboto, December 22 (MExN): The Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) under Zunheboto district conducted Block Level Trainers’ training from December 13-15 at Block Mission Management Unit (BMMU) office, Satakha Resource Block.  

The inaugural session was chaired by Tolika Sema, Block Program Manager, Satakha block, while the keynote address and objective of the training was delivered by Vika Yeptho, ADPM, NSRLM Zunheboto.  

The main objective of the training was to train and equip the selected Block Level Trainers’ (BLTs) as they in turn will become trainers and resource persons in the block levels, according to a press release received here. Twenty-five persons were identified as BLTs from amongst the community cadres, active women in the block and the block staffs.  

The trainees were divided into 5 groups as per the 5 thematic areas – Livelihoods, Institution Building/Capacity Building (IB/CB), Social Mobilization (SM), Financial Inclusion (FI), Gender – and were trained in their respective thematic topics, the release added.  

The resource persons for the training were S Kanitoli Chishi (Livelihoods), Shihani Tsuipu (IB/CB), Jafet Simi (SM), S Kitoho Simi (FI), Vika Yeptho (Gender).
