NSSWB conducts training on paper bag making

Kohima, November 29 (MExN): The Nagaland State Social Welfare Board (NSSWB) through the Mahila Shakti Kendra Kohima conducted skill development training on paper bag making at Chedema village on November 29.


The training was conducted using recycle papers to promote awareness on ill effects of using plastic products and for the promotion of environment friendly packaging.


 A total of 11 SHG members representing different SHG groups attended the training. A team of four State Board Officials lead by the Women Welfare Officer Neipechau Mepfhuo conducted the training. She gave a brief introduction to the programme and also stressed some importance on women empowerment.


The trainers for the programme were NAGC coordinators Vilakhonuo Kiewhuo, Manlee Manpuhro and Khriezotuolie Chase.
