Dimapur, July 30 (MExN): P.Dako Phom, Parliamentary Secretary, Transport and Mechanical Engineering, Nagaland has inaugurated a new NST bus service between Dimapur-A.K Industrial Village on July 28. In the inaugural programme, Pekruseto Angami, general manager, NST along with senior officers of the Department and other public leaders of the area were also present.
In his inaugural speech, the Parliamentary Secretary stated that the bus service provided to a particular village by the government is a major development project to boost socio-economic development of the area. He also urged the villagers to protect and take care of the Department and Government properties, and employees who will be rendering services because of the fact that the Government employees would undertake lots of hardship to deliver services even in the rural areas. He further stated, “It is a common concern for both the Department and public to see the services run smoothly so that no unwanted incidents/situation should take place in the operation of the bus services.”
