NStCB mobile ATM to cover rural areas

DC Kohima Gregory Thejawelie flags off the mobile ATM of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank supported under Financial Inclusion Fund from NABARD on August 18.

Kohima, August 19 (MExN): A mobile ATM of Nagaland State Cooperative Bank (NStCB) supported under Financial Inclusion Fund from NABARD was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima Gregory Thejawelie on August 18. 

According to Nchumthung Kikon, Chief Manager and Nodal Officer, this mobile ATM is the first in Kohima district and second after Dimapur covered by the NStCB. This ATM van will cover all rural areas where banking services is needed, Kikon informed in a press release. 

DC Kohima while flagging off the van thanked NABARD for the assistance and NStCB for bringing the platform for reaching the rural areas. He expressed confidence that this will help fill the leakage of expenses incurred by the rural people in reaching the bank. Others present during the ceremony were ADC, Vice Chairman NStCB, DDM NABARD and the banking fraternity of Kohima district.
